  The accompanying image was taken on the night of the birth of my son, when I'd been awake for nearly 40 hours. I was sent home from hospital and stopped in at Bristol Underground comedy club to see some friends and tell them I was now a dad. Just as I arrived the booked headliner cancelled, and impresario and bitcoin enthusiast Pete Dobbing asked if I could jump on and do a closing set.
